 This coming Friday will be dress in a pattern day! Students may dress up in any sort of pattern that they like!

We have continued to look at the concept of multiplication and it feels like the students are picking this up well. Some of the next steps will be to begin the memorization process of the multiplication facts. Depending on your child, this could be a lengthy task. We will be working on strategies such as doubling, using a known fact, and just straight up rote memorization to try and get the facts known and reduce reliance on finger counting and drawing dots to count. We have also begun learning about sound vibration and how the human ear works. Ask your child!
