 *Reminder that Friday, October 7 is a non-instructional day. Students will not come to school that day.

In math we have been looking at rounding numbers to the nearest tens and how to locate numbers on a number line. Today students worked through a neat math problem. Get your child to explain how we solved the problem!

In Spanish, we are working on writing simple sentences about foods. We are using sentence starters like:

-A mi me gusta comer...

- A mi me encanta comer...

-Yo como

-Los/las ______________ son _____________.

-El/La ________________es_______________.

InEnglish we have started some reading groups and will be doing Daily Five again. We are also working at making personal connections to reading. After reading a text at home, practice thinking about connections.

In Science, we looked at the rock cycle. 

For health, we have been discussing friendships and what a friendship looks like.
