Math - today we used calculators that have a game with equations to practice solving. We are also looking at polygons, parallel lines and right angles.
Spanish - We continue to finish our Spanish writing about foods and the alphabet
English - we are working on "walking stories" or personal narratives. We are working on how to make a plan for writing.
Science - we have started looking at minerals
Social Studies - this week we studied Diwali, the celebration from India
Art - ask your child about their pumpkins
During the pandemic, many pieces shifted online, including Parent Teacher Conferences. Some families indicated that they preferred them online as it allowed flexibility in timing and attendance. We have formal opportunities for connections with families throughout the year. Thank you for providing feedback for the format and method delivery of our conferences. Please note that due to logistical parameters that are not in our control, we may not be able to implement all feedback. Thank you for providing your input.
